Fowler Homestead is a small Appalachian cottage bakery built on the belief that good food starts with good soil, honest work, and deep roots. Everything we bake is crafted by hand in our home kitchen using sourdough, locally sourced ingredients, and seasonal harvests often foraged right from the land around us.
We keep our operation small, slow, and intentional just the way it should be.

Decorated with edible herbs and flowers, using flour grown and milled nearby.

Everything is baked under WV cottage law, and with deep respect for the land we’re blessed to live on.

Our mission is not just to sell what we create, but to collaborate with our community, inspiring others to grow their own food, create with their hands, and learn alongside one another.We believe that when people come together to share forgotten or fading skills, we reclaim a sense of security and purpose in an ever-changing world. Everyone has something to offer and when we each learn just one thing, we can exchange our talents and create a strong, interconnected community.
